What are feeds?
RSS and Atom files (feeds) provide website content in a lightweight data format called XML. You read these files in a program (sometimes called a feed reader or aggregator) that presents the content in a simple, readable form, usually along with links back to the original site. It's an easy way to be notified of newly-published content on the web.
What program do I use?
Any of these will work:
- Bloglines (Web-based)
- SharpReader (Windows)
- FeedDemon (Windows)
- Shrook (Mac OS X)
- NetNewsWire (Mac OS X)
